Are you a 24 hour facility?
Yes. The Front-Desk is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
Do you have laundry facilities?
At this time, we do not have laundry facilities available for guests of the Ocean Village Hotel. If you are staying with us on a long term basis there are Laundromats in Freeport and Clute, within 10 miles driving distance.
Do you have coffee pots in your rooms?
Yes. We have single cup coffee pots in all the rooms.
Does the Ocean Village Hotel provide Beach Towels?
At this time the Ocean Village Hotel does not provide Beach Towels. We do provide at least 4 towels for use after a bath or shower. We ask that you do NOT take our bath towels to the beach. You will want to bring your own Beach Towels.
Are there Mosquitoes in Surfside Beach?
At certain times of year the mosquitoes are more prevalent. Mosquitoes are dependent on the weather conditions. If it is cold or windy the mosquitoes tend to stay away. If it has rained recently or is very humid and not windy there is a high chance of mosquitoes. We recommend you bring some Mosquito Repellent, especially if the weather forecast is not too specific. We do sell mosquito repellent at the front desk.
Do you have hair dryers in your rooms?
Yes. Every room has a hair dryer.
